The temperature display panel, or climate control from mid 90’s through mid 2000’s Buicks have a notorious issue. The screen will initially start fading on the sides, and eventually will no longer light up. This is due to overheating of the ceramic resistors which eventually damage the circuit board if not tended to. About 10-15% of these are NOT repairable when they come in. This is why we do not have a core charge associated with this part.
